Budosprzęt collaborated on the formwork concept for the reinforced concrete columns. Then, once the technology was approved by the contractor, it developed and assembled the moulds, based on the principle of formwork strips, which were to be fitted into the rectangular form created from the Rasto system formwork.

Three stages of concreting were envisaged. In the first stage, the body was concreted, which had the shape of a tapering ellipse. The next stage was the form of the ‘tee’ – the place from which the arms of the column diverged – for each column the angle of divergence of the arms was different, with one arm being repeated. The third stage was the concreting of the arms, which consisted of two parts: a base in the shape of a fine cone and a head in the form of a narrowed cylinder. The forms of the eminences were optimised so that all four columns could be shaped with minimal effort using a standard mould. This required little intervention in the architectural form of the column and was accepted after agreement with the designer. The components were cut on CNC machines and assembled by Budosprzęt’s specialised carpenters, so that the moulds were perfectly aligned with each other.
