The gable walls of the chapel ended in a tie beam with a cantilever that overhung the wall in Axis ‘A’ at 120cm and in Axis ‘F’ at 90cm. The walls were made using masonry technology, which were crowned by a monolithic beam laid in a large haunch (approximately 50 degrees).

Such a large slant required a customised approach to the design of the full formwork – analogous to the sloping column. Due to the limited use of a crane on site, Budosprzęt suggested the BudoUNI lightweight formwork. This was placed on a frame of BudoTECH/BudoEKO steel universal beams using Roro L towers. In addition, the project was hampered by the design of the cross-shaped daylight windows – in this section it was necessary to close the formwork into a polygon.
